Healing Crisis and beyond.....

I feel great! It has been about five weeks since I have been adding fresh Cannabis leaf into my diet.  It was not all great in the beginning because I had fallen off of the deep end this summer.  I had been traveling and there are not many healthy options along the highway and byways of America.  Those burgers and fries may be easy on your wallet, but they are certainly expensive in terms of your health and wellbeing. (I know, some of you are saying, DUH, Babz!)

The best part of what happened after ingesting fresh cannabis was my 'healing crisis'.  Really!  If I went through it and many of you may go through it as well when you start to eat fresh Cannabis.  So pay attention!  After three days of eating the fresh leaf in a smoothie (about one ice cube of Cannabis in a smoothie per person), I had my healing crisis. Oh, my, it was not pretty. 

A healing crisis is a response the body goes through after a treatment such as deep tissue massage or like drinking Wheatgrass or you guessed it, Cannabis.  The body is responding to the treatment and as a result it can purge toxins out of the body and realign the digestive and immune response.  The healing crisis can result in fatigue, insomnia, diarrhea, nausea, constipation, and fever. Oh, I forgot headache!  (How could I have forgotten that headache.)

Well, I had them all. But I kept drinking the smoothie because I knew, after Googling Healing Crisis, I knew I was on the right path!  So I will spare you the details of the last 4-5 weeks only to tell you that I am feeling better than I have in 10 years!
